Alfa Romeo Adventure

From its initial conception right through to the final winner the creative team at CMS Marketing delivered a successful promotional campaign through team building and innovative ideas for events.

Gerry Ryan invited three teams to drive the highways and byways of Ireland on a treasure hunt with a twist to test their knowledge, nerves and patience!

The teams were:

1) RTÉ 2fm Ryan Show reporter Evelyn O'Rourke and Baz from 'How Low Can You Go'.

2) Fair City actress Rachel Kavanagh and RTÉ Motoring correspondent, Michael Sheridan.

3) John McGuire presenter of RTÉ 2's 'I'm An Adult, Get Me Out Of Here' and RTÉ 2fm's sports reporter Jacqui Hurley.

Every morning on RTÉ 2fm, Gerry presented the teams with a series of challenges to be carried out during the live programme. The challenges were a battle of wits to test the celebrities to the very limits. The winning team per day received €1000 from Alfa Romeo to be donated to the charity of their choice.

As the teams drove all over the country, Gerry booked rooms in some of Ireland's most luxurious hotels for them - however, Gerry decided each day if the teams had worked hard enough to earn a good night's sleep in the hotel or if they should pitch their tent and CAMP outside in the grounds!!

The winning team of the Alfa Romeo challenge was:

John and Jacqui who raised €4298

Rachel & Michael raised €4060.81

Evelyn & Baz raised €3927
